Okay, for all those who are still following this blog even after the fast is done, I would love to hear your comments. What has God done in your life through this fast? If you were at the “Breakthrough Service”, tell me what God did in you or through you that night. I was amazed at the presence of the Holy Spirit last night! It's really hard to put words to it, but the "Breakthrough Service" was nothing less than awesome! I was really touched by seeing many of you on your face seeking God, broken before Him, at the front of church last night. I know that we moved the heart of God. You all really embodied the verse (Mark 12:30) “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.”
I would love to hear any testimonies or stories that you have from these past 21 days and what you are expecting God to do in your life now that the fast is over. Do you have a sense that He is up to something big in your life? Are you changed because of the fast? I believe that your stories will encourage everyone who reads. I encourage you to keep seeking after God with all of your heart. Remember, in 2 Chronicles 16:9 (NLT) it says, “The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.”
As you keep your heart focused on Him and commit your ways unto Him, He will strengthen you. Rely on Him this day and throughout the rest of the year. As you do that, His hand of blessing will rest upon you and He will give you the power and strength to live up to the calling He has on your life. God bless you…I know He will!

Yeah, lastnight was really amazing. I can't really describe what was going on, but the holy spirit was there. Before the service started I felt like it was going to be really powerful and when all the stuff happen with the sound system, it was like the devil knew what was going to happen and was trying to stop it. We're going to see some powerful things done this year, as a youth group and as individuals.

I would like to say how awesome the 21 day fast was for us. Even before the fast was announced the Lord showed George during his devotions the verse about fasting and prayer. So when Don announced the fast, we were prepared to do it. One thing the fast did for us, was bring us closer to each other through daily devotions and being accountable to one another. Jentezen Franklin purpose for the fast was Release, Restore and Reward which is what he focused on in his blog. We were believing that jobs would be released to us and financial blessing. Jobs have been coming PTL! We are seeing breakthroughs in our family.
One of the keys for us during the fast was that it was not just giving up food, but replacing it with the Word and being fed by the Word during those 21 days. It has nourished our spirits and we have grown together.
Thank you Don and Josie for being obediant to the Lord. We are expecting the seeds of the fast to produce a great harvest during 2008.

Hey, so it's been a while since the fast ended, but I thought I'd keep the ball rolling a little bit and just share how God is still really blessing some areas of my life, areas that I was fasting over. We all had really great expectations for the fast I know, and something I've been thinking since then, was God doesn't change just because we're not on the 21-day fast. God is still able to exceed our "great expectations" that we have when we fast for shorter periods of time, or when we just pray. I've caught myself so many times forgetting that God is still powerful, and just as powerful as when we were all fasting. This year, I believe, will be blessed. We all need to continue to press towards the goal of glorifying our Savior, and reaching more for Him. We don't need to be on a 21-day fast to still reach His heart, even though that is a really wonderful thing.
So let's keep pressing to reach His heart deeper and deeper this year. Yehaw!
